Privacy Policy
If you are a job applicant, a newsletter subscriber, or a website visitor, you are entrusting us with your personal data. We are responsible for its protection and security. Please familiarize yourself with the personal data protection, principles, and rights you have in connection with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Who is the controller?
The personal data controller is the company MAGURA GROUP s.r.o., ID 05815789, with its registered office at Antala Staška 1859/34, Prague, which operates the website www.maguragroup.cz. We process your personal data as a controller, i.e., we determine how and for what purpose the personal data will be processed, for how long, and we select any other processors who will assist us with the processing.
Contact Details
If you wish to contact us during the processing, you can reach us via e-mail at: info@maguragroup.cz.
Our Declaration
We declare that, as the controller of your personal data, we fulfill all legal obligations required by current legislation, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR, meaning that:
- we will process your personal data only on the basis of a valid legal reason, primarily legitimate interest, legal obligation, or granted consent,
- we fulfill the information obligation according to Article 13 of the GDPR before starting the processing of personal data,
- we will enable and support you in exercising and fulfilling your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR.
What personal data do we process and for how long?
Only data used for basic identification (i.e., first name, last name, e-mail, phone). We strictly need this data to contact you and initiate potential cooperation if you fill out any of the forms on the website. We never require personal data that is not necessary for this purpose (e.g., social security number, copies of IDs, etc.). We use personal data only for the purpose for which it was provided and inform the user transparently about this purpose. Data is stored for a maximum of 10 years for accounting purposes.
Third-party Processors
Until you establish cooperation with us, we do not transfer your personal data to any other entities or processors. Once cooperation begins, we always inform you about whom we will transfer your personal data to before doing so. Typically, this involves transferring data to: transport companies (for the purpose of delivering correspondence to you), accountants (management of accounting records), accommodation facilities (to arrange accommodation for you), etc. This always depends on the specific project and cannot be generalized. Therefore, we always inform you in advance of what we can arrange for you and what personal data we will need from you and potentially transfer to the data processor.
How we protect your data
MAGURA GROUP s.r.o. adopts all technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in the manner specified by law or other binding legal regulations and to exclude the possibility of unauthorized or accidental access to personal data, its alteration, destruction or loss, unauthorized transfers, other unauthorized processing, as well as other misuse of personal data. This obligation applies even after the termination of the processing of personal data.
Your Rights
Right of access to personal data
The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from the controller whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed, and if so, the right to access that personal data. Upon request, we will provide all information about the processing of personal data to those who provided it to us (requests can be sent by e-mail to info@maguragroup.cz).
Right to restriction of processing
Data subjects have the right to have us restrict the processing of personal data (requests can be sent via the contact form or by e-mail to info@maguragroup.cz) if: i) the data subject disputes the accuracy of the personal data, for a period enabling the controller to verify its accuracy; or ii) the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of its use instead; or iii) the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject requires it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or iv) the data subject has objected to processing until it has been verified whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
If personal data is processed for a specific purpose and is no longer needed for that purpose, it is automatically deleted. If data is processed based on consent and the data subject withdraws consent, we erase the personal data. The right to erasure is not absolute; if we have an objective obligation to continue storing data (e.g., accounting), erasure occurs for data no longer needed for the original processing purposes.
Consent to personal data processing
By submitting any form on this website, you grant MAGURA GROUP s.r.o. consent to process your personal data.
Other data subject rights include:
- the right to rectification or completion,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to object,
- the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects.
